International Master in Business Analytics and Big Data

The International Master in Business Analytics and Big Data is a 12-month International Master programme offered by us at POLIMI GSoM. Our objective is to teach young and highly motivated candidates to reach formative goals for their future careers. We do so through an experiential approach to both intellectual studies and hands-on application with labs, business cases, contributions by industrial partners and companies, and internships.

Are you passionate about Big Data and Business Analytics? With this Master, you will become a data-savvy professional able to manage complex business analytics problems across a variety of different industries and environments.

You will learn how to combine advanced analytical tools with business processes to improve decision-making and exploit new opportunities, and how to gain valuable insights from big data extraction, processing and interpretation.

You will become a champion of predictive methods and big data technologies, acquiring a broad set of managerial skills to improve business performance.

Please note that we’ve designed this programme for recent graduates with ideally no more than 3 years of work experience. If you have more experience, you might also like to take a look at our International MBA programmes. 

Our International Master in Business Analytics and Big Data offers innovative teaching and learning approaches.

For you, we have designed standard in-class lectures, videos, and digital content but
also formats that create a very active environment and opportunities for discussion and the sharing of information, such as teamwork, workshops, simulations and case studies.

Our partner companies will not simply support but will also help to run the programme: they will design the content with our faculty and will bring their direct experience to the class, proposing real cases to discuss during the sessions and offering qualified internship positions to the best students.

We teach this Master entirely in English.

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (if already available at the time of the application)

• Motivation letter
• Financial Aid Essay (if you are applying for one of our tuition fee reductions)
• English proficiency certificate: IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC or equivalent (if already available at the time of the application)
• Pay the Application Fee (EUR €100) 

STEP 2: SCREENING  

We will let you know if you have been selected for a Motivational Interview, which will be held online and in English. 

STEP 3: OUR FINAL DECISION  

We will send you an email with our final decision, as well as details about your scholarship (if you apply for one). 

STEP 4: CONFIRMING YOUR PARTICIPATION 

After you receive our email and the admission contract, we ask you kindly to confirm your participation in the programme by paying the first instalment.

The programme costs €18,500. These costs cover the entire length of our programme, but they do not include living and travel expenses. If you’ve done a Master of Science programme at Politecnico di Milano in or after 2020, your tuition fee is €9,500.

Applicants of the International Junior Specialising Masters can apply for fee reductions. These are given out on a first-come, first-served basis, so it’s a good idea to apply early. If you’d like financial aid, you need to request it when you submit your application form – please note that late requests for financial aid won’t be considered.
