Awards programme highlights meaningful contributions to business education and society.

POLIMI Graduate School of Management is proud to announce that Federico Frattini has been recognised as a winner of AACSB International’s (AACSB) inaugural Global Impact Awards, celebrating the innovation, impact, and dedication of business schools and their leaders today.

The Global Impact Awards honour individuals and institutions whose initiatives exemplify innovation, leadership, and measurable impact in business education and society. Grounded in AACSB’s Global Standards for Business Education™, the awards highlight contributions from across the global business education community.

Federico Frattini was recognised in the category of Impactful Leadership for Strategic Innovation. He has in fact redefined the institution’s organisational purpose to move beyond profit-centric education, embracing a transformative mission to shape a better future for all. This shift has positioned the school as a catalyst for societal change, embedding purpose into leadership, culture, and curriculum.

This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to reimagining the role of business education through purpose, responsibility, and meaningful impact. It is a testament to the collective dedication of our entire community—faculty, staff, students, and partners—who every day contribute to shaping a School that strives to drive positive and lasting change.", said Federico Frattini, Dean of POLIMI Graduate School of Management.

The 2026 honorees include 27 individuals and institutions from 16 countries, selected from a highly competitive pool of submissions. Award recipients are recognised for shaping future-ready business schools through strategic leadership, translating faculty research into meaningful impact, fostering inclusive social and economic growth, integrating emerging technologies into learning experiences, and supporting the AACSB community through dedicated service.

“The Global Impact Awards underscore Federico Frattini’s commitment to creating meaningful impact through business education,” said Lily Bi, president and CEO of AACSB. “Their work sets a powerful example for the future of business education, and we look forward to its continued growth and influence.”
