Looking Ahead Together: Season’s Greetings from our School

A Year of Growth, Impact and New Challenges for POLIMI GSoM
The festive season is the perfect time to reflect on the milestones we have achieved and to look forward with enthusiasm to the opportunities ahead. 2025 has been a special year for our Business School, marked by initiatives and results that reaffirm our commitment to shaping leaders capable of creating value for society and the environment.
Among the most significant recognitions was the 2025 Sustainability Report Award, granted by Corriere della Sera to our Impact Report. For us, this is not just an award, but confirmation that we are moving in the right direction: towards transparency, responsibility and value creation for our Community.
To make this commitment even more tangible, this year we launched the Impact Committee – a new forum for dialogue that enables us to look to the future with a more structured approach, integrating ESG topics into strategic decisions and educational programmes, while maintaining an open dialogue with businesses, institutions and our Alumni Community.
An important sign of the value of this journey came from the 2025 Positive Impact Rating, where our School was recognised as a Pioneering School – the only one in Europe to achieve the highest rating level – thanks to the opinions expressed by our students. This is a clear confirmation of the consistency between what we teach and what we strive to live every day.
We also wanted to take concrete care of those who are part of our Community. The Kids Camp project was born from a simple yet important idea: allowing parents to continue investing in their growth while involving their children in a meaningful educational experience inspired by sustainability. In the same spirit, we expanded our collaboration with the Amici di Emmaus association, launching a solidarity merchandising line that combines sustainability, inclusion and ethical work. This small gesture reflects our vision of a School: a place that does not simply educate but takes responsibility for people and the most vulnerable communities.
2025 was also a year of great opportunities for dialogue and inspiration. The third edition of Purpose Day – Inspiring Real Change Beyond Disillusion brought together over 2,000 participants, both in person and online, to reflect on how Purpose can be transformed into concrete choices that generate real value for organisations and society. We believe these spaces for dialogue are where a new managerial culture is built.
Confirming a path of structural growth, we inaugurated our new Rome campus at Villa Fassini. This is a tangible sign of our expansion and our desire to be ever closer to our local communities, creating new opportunities for meeting and exchanging views.
Looking at the numbers, this year’s results tell the story of a School in strong expansion: over 28,000 students overall, with significant growth compared to previous years (+127% compared to 2022), increased revenues and strengthened financial solidity. Membership in our Alumni Clubs reached 3,025 (+202.5% compared to 2022), with a total of 26 Alumni Clubs and 13 International Chapters managed by our network. Our Strategic Plan (Positive Impact through Education Plan) also exceeded the objectives set for 2024–2025, enabling us to train over 11,000 people on innovation for sustainability and impact, inspire more than 1.2 million through content and events, and mobilise over €5.7 million for the implementation of high-impact projects.
Looking ahead, we are preparing for 2026 with new projects and initiatives that will strengthen our commitment to building a better society through management education.
As I conclude this message, I would like to wish you a wonderful holiday season and a Happy New Year!
