A year of solidarity initiatives with Amici di Emmaus

Throughout 2025, the collaboration between POLIMI Graduate School of Management and the Amici di Emmaus association gave rise to numerous initiatives that strengthened our commitment to inclusion, diversity, and social responsibility. It has been a journey of concrete actions that have engaged our Community and generated real impact.
Solidarity merchandising for a more inclusive future
In January 2025, we launched a new line of solidarity merchandising, the result of a partnership between our Business School and the non-profit organisation.
The collection included pencil cases, laptop sleeves, and other modern-design accessories, all handmade in the artisan workshop – hosted within our School’s premises – using eco-friendly materials and in compliance with ethical standards.
Each purchase was not only a sign of belonging to the POLIMI GSoM Community but also a direct contribution to Amici di Emmaus projects. The products were made available through our online store.
This initiative combined sustainability and solidarity, supporting valuable social projects and promoting tangible impact on the most vulnerable communities.
Alumni Summer Gala 2025: an auction to make a difference
During the Alumni Summer Gala, our Community came together to support Amici di Emmaus through a charity auction featuring unique items, including a T-shirt signed by A.C. Milan footballer Christian Pulisic, gloves, drawings, a handbag, and a laptop sleeve.
Charity Dinner “Non siamo soli”
In early November, a group of our alumni took part in the charity dinner “Non siamo soli”, organised by Amici di Emmaus to support its initiatives.
The evening offered the opportunity to learn more about the association’s activities and to contribute concretely to its collaboration with the “Hippocrates” Rehabilitation Centre in Kharkiv, which assists families with children with disabilities.
This initiative represented a valuable occasion to strengthen the bond between our Community and an organisation with which we share the values of inclusion and social responsibility that define our School’s identity.
Beyond these initiatives, 2025 saw further opportunities for support:
- The free provision of spaces for workshops organised by the association, demonstrating our commitment to promoting inclusive practices.
- The nomination of the project developed with Amici di Emmaus within the Leave Your Mark programme among the finalists at Purpose Day 2025, Italy’s leading event dedicated to Purpose as a driver of positive change for society.
These initiatives reflect the strength of a collaboration that goes beyond words, turning into concrete actions to build a more inclusive and supportive future. We will continue to back projects that generate social impact, because we believe that change begins with shared responsibility.
