Creative Minds: Echo of Two Worlds

A musical journey through cultures, emotions, and dialogue

At a time when dialogue between cultures is becoming increasingly essential, music once again proves to be a universal language capable of bringing people together and creating deep connections, transcending geographical and symbolic boundaries. It is from this vision that the event “Echo of Two Worlds” was born, an artistic experience across East and West filled with suggestions, emotions, and cultural intersections.

On Wednesday, July 8, at 6:00 PM, the School of Management of Politecnico di Milano, in partnership with POLIMI Graduate School of Management, will host the third event in the Creative Minds @POLIMI GSoM series at the Navigli Campus (Ripa di Porta Ticinese 77, Milan).

The event is part of a series of initiatives aimed at promoting creativity and interdisciplinary dialogue, offering an evening where music and storytelling merge into an immersive and engaging experience, capable of overcoming distances and fostering mutual understanding among peoples.

At the heart of the performance will be the voice and artistic sensitivity of Valentina Volpe Andreazza, singer, performer, and expert in relational care and interculturality, as well as founder of the Music4Diplomacy network, through which she promotes music as a tool for dialogue. Alongside her will be Francesco Morettini, an experienced pianist who graduated from the Morlacchi Conservatory in Perugia and has been involved in renowned artistic collaborations. Together, the two artists will present a repertoire ranging from original compositions to iconic international melodies.

The musical performance will be enriched by in-depth discussion moments moderated by Angelo Cavallo, Associate Dean of POLIMI Graduate School of Management and Associate Professor at Politecnico di Milano, offering the audience the opportunity to gain insight into the creative process and explore the cultural and symbolic meanings of the works presented.
