Faculty
A key driver of the School’s success is its Faculty, which includes professors from Politecnico di Milano, visiting professors from other academic institutions, as well as experienced professionals and managers from industry and consultancy.

The Faculty is increasingly international and diverse and is structured into four main categories:
Core Faculty
The Core Faculty consists of the School’s professors. Core Faculty members are engaged in teaching, research, and the governance of the School.

Adjunct Faculty
The Adjunct Faculty consists of external/visiting academics and professionals from top universities, companies, and institutions of any kind. The Adjunct Faculty members contribute with their individual expertise by teaching in specific courses for a significant number of hours each year, and do not hold institutional or governance roles within the School.

Professional Faculty
The Professional Faculty consists of external/visiting academics and professionals from top universities, companies, and institutions of any kind. The Professional Faculty members contribute with their individual expertise by teaching occasionally in specific courses, and do not hold institutional or governance roles within the School.

Distinguished Faculty
Finally, the School officially appoints Distinguished Faculty members in recognition of individuals with extensive and impactful teaching experience and internationally recognised expertise.

Franco Quillico
Franco Quillico received an MS Summa Cum Laude in electrical engineering from Politecnico di Milano, in 1979. In 1984 he graduated with a Master in Business Administration (MBA) in Finance with distinction from the Wharton School, Penn.

Fabio Sdogati
Fabio Sdogati graduated in Economics from the University of Rome in 1973. He later obtained a Master of Science and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1983 and 1986, respectively. He is a Professor of International Economics at Politecnico di Milano, where he has been teaching and conducting research for over thirty years. He is the author of numerous scientific publications and actively participates in academic and institutional debates on issues related to international economics.
