While experience in business development or entrepreneurship is preferred, we also welcome candidates from economics, technology, or creative disciplines, as long as you have relevant coursework or a demonstrable interest in these areas.

DOUBLE-DEGREE OPTION IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP

This Master's programme also offers an opportunity to obtain an MSc in Entrepreneurship from WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management by attending an additional year at WHU.

If you are interested in WHU’s MSc degree, you have two options:

You can choose to attend the entire programme, starting at POLIMI GSoM for the first year and continuing at WHU for the second year. You will sign a Training Student Contract with each institution before the start of the programme, which includes full details. You have the right to cancel up to one month before the start of your second year.
Alternatively, you can begin with the POLIMI GSoM Master programme and decide by February of your first year to proceed to the second year at WHU. In this case, you will sign a second Training Student Contract specific to the second year of the Master programme.

The Career Development Centre provides students with a self-assessment of their skills and an analysis of the job market; candidates will be supported in designing a customised career strategy and an effective action plan, to turn their career aspirations into achievable goals. For the 2022 cohort, over 75% of our students had been offered employment opportunities by the end of the programme, covering positions in a wide range of company sectors such as Consulting, Tech and Digital and others.

Admissions

Please note that we process applications on a rolling basis, which means that they may close even before the deadlines. Our limited number of seats available in the class means the sooner you apply, the better.

If you are a non-EU candidate, we recommend that you apply at least 3 months before the programme starts, to leave enough time for a Verification Statement of your degree and to apply for your student visa.

1. ACTIVATE YOUR APPLICATION AND SUBMIT YOUR DOCUMENTS

Fill in the form at apply.gsom.polimi.it and upload these documents:

your CV in English
university transcripts/mark sheets
bachelor’s/master’s degree (if already available at the time of the application)
copy of your passport or ID
digital picture
letter of reference
motivation letter
Financial Aid Essay (if you’re applying for one of our tuition fee reductions)
English proficiency certificate: IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC or equivalent (if already available at the time of the application)
Pay the Application Fee (EUR €100)

2. SCREENING

We will let you know if you have been selected for a Motivational Interview in English, which we will do online.

Fees and Benefits

The programme costs €25.000. These costs cover the entire length of our programme, but they do not include living and travel expenses. A reduced fee of €13,000 is available for students who have graduated from Politecnico di Milano with a Master of Science degree, no more than 3 years before enrolling in the Master.

We at POLIMI GSoM have partnered with Flywire to accept payments from international students worldwide.

Applicants for the Specialising Masters can apply for fee reductions. These are given out on a first-come, first-served basis, so it’s a good idea to apply early. If you’d like financial aid, you need to request it when you submit your application form – please note that late requests for financial aid won’t be considered.

Please note that we don’t offer full scholarships, and that the DSU and other scholarships offered by Politecnico di Milano and the Italian Government cannot be used for POLIMI GSoM’s programmes.
