Everyone knows you can’t put a price on luxury! Here we’ve brought together two prestigious Schools, POLIMI GSoM and LA SALLE Academy, to give rise to a brand-new programme. Our International Master in Luxury Value Chain – Italian Excellence is a full-time 12-month course, at the end of which you’ll get a first level Master degree from Politecnico di Milano.

With this brand-new Master, you have the unique opportunity to dive deep into luxury value creation and the Italian way. Italy is one of the global pillars for these types of products, and the Italian luxury system is a unique environment for value creation, requiring specific knowledge and skills.


Our luxury system is based on small business and districts and is one of a kind in the world. With us, you’ll learn how this complex and articulated system works, thanks to an immersive experience in districts, territories, and firms. You will get the chance to develop entrepreneurial ideas by taking inspiration from unique small and medium enterprises with top-quality artisanship, as well as understanding the deep role of local cutlery makers in fostering luxury product creation.

Our world is going through unprecedented change, and we need a new generation of innovators to pave the way for the future. Our programme, jointly developed with LA SALLE Academy International Campus, gives you a highly specialised qualification and at the end you’ll get a first level Master Degree from  Politecnico di Milano.

Please note that we’ve designed this programme for recent graduates with ideally no more than 3 years of work experience. If you have more experience, you might also like to take a look at our International MBA programmes.

This International Master in Luxury Value Chain – Italian Excellence is a 12-month Master programme offered by us at POLIMI GSoM, together with LA SALLE Academy International Campus. We’ve designed this course to introduce you to the Italian way to value creation in the luxury industry, showing you how this complex and articulated system works thanks to an immersive experience in districts, territories, and firms. 

If you take part in our programme, you’ll also get one experiential weeks in Rome, where you’ll have the chance to truly experience the soul of Made in Italy excellence.

You’ll also have study tours and company visits that we organise throughout the semester. For these, you’ll travel to some fascinating and beautiful cities such as Venice, Ville del Veneto, and Verona.

We teach this Master entirely in English.

Please note that we process applications on a rolling basis, which means that they may close even before the deadlines. Our limited number of seats available in the class means the sooner you apply, the better.

If you are a non-EU candidate, we recommend that you apply at least 3 months before the programme starts, to leave enough time for a Statement of Comparability of your degree and to apply for your student visa.

  • Pay the Application Fee (EUR €100)


We will let you know if you have been selected for a Motivational Interview in English, which we will do online.


We will send you an e-mail with our final decision on your application, and if the result is positive, you will also receive scholarship information (if you applied for one).


After you receive our email and the admission contract, we kindly ask you to confirm your participation in the programme by paying the first instalment of EUR €2,500. Please remember that you need to pay the amount due within 15 days of receiving the offer. You can ask for a short extension if you are applying for a loan, an external scholarship or for any other valid reason.

You can pay also via Flywire a platform that allows you to make education payments in your own currency, using local payment methods from the safety and convenience of your home, with ith real-time tracking and 24×7 multilingual support.

The programme costs €18,500. These costs cover the entire length of our programme, but they do not include living and travel expenses. If you’ve done a Master of Science programme at Politecnico di Milano in or after 2019, your tuition fee is €9,500.

We at POLIMI GSoM have partnered with Flywire to accept payments from international students worldwide. 

Applicants for the 2022 intake of the International Junior Specialising Masters can apply for fee reductions. These are given out on a first-come, first-served basis, so it’s a good idea to apply early. If you’d like financial aid, you need to request it when you submit your application form – please note that late requests for financial aid won’t be considered.

Please note that we don’t offer full scholarships, and that the DSU and other scholarships offered by Politecnico di Milano and the Italian Government cannot be used for POLIMI GSoM’s programmes.
