A renewed learning journey for tomorrow’s challenges

The programme follows a redesigned learning journey that equips you with the tools and capabilities needed to stay relevant in a constantly evolving work environment. Through the dedicated Future-Proof Skills module, the MBA focuses on emerging trends, new business challenges and the skills organisations already expect from their future leaders.

An experiential MBA, one weekend per month

Learning takes place one weekend per month through face-to-face sessions built around practical experiences. You will take part in hackathons, lab visits, in-company classes and company challenges, connecting classroom learning to real organisational contexts. Networking events and round tables with business professionals further enrich the experience, encouraging dialogue and exchange beyond lectures.

A strong international perspective

International exposure is an integral part of the programme. Two international weeks in Europe give you the opportunity to learn with an international faculty and build meaningful connections with peers from different backgrounds. You can further personalise your experience by taking part in a Doing Business In week or an Exchange Programme, developed in collaboration with partner business schools and organisations worldwide.

Programme structure

The International Part-Time MBA is a 20-month programme offered by POLIMI Graduate School of Management, designed to fit around professional and personal commitments while delivering a rigorous and immersive learning experience.

The format allows you to organise your studies alongside work, combining face-to-face learning with digital content and structured distance sessions.

Learning format and agenda
One weekend per month, you will attend two full days of face-to-face classes, held on Fridays and Saturdays, complemented by multimedia content. Each week, you will engage with two to four hours of asynchronous video content to build the foundations of each discipline.

Before each on-campus weekend, you will take part in a two-hour distance learning session focused on either Purpose and Human Capabilities or the Future-Proof Skills module. This structure ensures continuity, depth and practical application throughout the programme.
Core courses
Core Courses provide the managerial frameworks and tools needed to understand organisations, make informed decisions and navigate complexity. They are structured around four main pillars:

Admissions

Applications are processed on a rolling basis. As places are limited, we recommend applying as early as possible, as applications may close before the published deadlines once the class reaches capacity.

Step 1 – Activate your application and submit your documents

Complete the online application at apply.gsom.polimi.it, pay the application fee (€150), and upload the required documents. These include your CV in English, university transcripts or mark sheets, bachelor’s or master’s degree certificate (if already available), a copy of your passport or ID, a digital photo and a motivation letter.

A letter of reference and an English proficiency certificate (IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC or equivalent) are optional.

Step 2 – Screening

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a motivational interview, which may be held online or on campus, and to complete the POLIMI Graduate School of Management online test.

Fees and Benefits

The cost of the International PT MBA is €49,000 for individuals and €54,000 for company-sponsored participants.

The fee covers the entire duration of the program and does not include travel or accommodation expenses.
Through our Financial Aid Programme, you can gain easier access to the International PT MBA by submitting your application during the selection process.

By applying before the application round deadlines, you will be able to benefit from various forms of financial support, including the Early Bird. Contributions are awarded on a rolling basis and according to the first-come, first-served principle.

For this reason, we recommend submitting your application early.
