POLIMI Graduate School of Management has successfully retained its B Corp certification, achieving a B Impact Score of 123.3 out of 200. This result significantly exceeds the minimum threshold required for certification (80 points) and stands well above the average score of assessed companies (50.9).
This is an achievement we proudly share with our entire Community — one that represents far more than a confirmation. B Corp certification is not a finishing point, but rather one of the tangible indicators of a broader journey, made up of choices, initiatives and transformations that guide the School’s evolution towards a development model capable of generating value for both people and the planet.
A result that reflects tangible growth
The B Corp recertification reflects an increasingly structured, measurable and integrated commitment across the School’s activities. The score achieved highlights significant progress across the various impact areas.

- Community (28.5): active contribution to inclusion, local communities and society
- Customers (26.2): quality of the learning experience and outcomes for students
- Environment (21.6): responsible management and attention to environmental impact
- Governance (15.5): transparency, ethics and integration of Purpose into decision-making
A journey that began in 2020
POLIMI Graduate School of Management was the first Business School in Europe to obtain B Corp certification, launching as early as 2020 a structured pathway of measuring and continuously improving its impact.
The decision to pursue certification stems from the belief that every organisation plays a fundamental role in building a more equitable, inclusive and sustainable future. Within this context, the School aims to play a key role: educating leaders and professionals capable of generating not only economic value, but also social and environmental impact.
The improvement in the score — from 92.7 in 2020 to 123.3 today — clearly demonstrates the direction taken and the consistency in pursuing it.
A commitment that translates into impact
In recent years, this journey has taken shape through impactful initiatives developed in collaboration with our Community: programmes increasingly focused on sustainability, awareness-raising and knowledge-sharing activities, and an ecosystem engaging students, alumni, Faculty, staff and partners.
This ongoing work will be shared in greater detail in the upcoming Impact Report, to be released in the coming weeks, and represents one of the key tools for measuring and communicating the value created.
Part of a global community for change
Being a B Corp also means being part of a global movement of organisations working together to build a more inclusive, equitable and regenerative economy.
A Community that promotes a model in which profit is integrated with the common good, environmental protection and accountability towards all stakeholders.
This recertification is a moment of pride for the entire POLIMI Graduate School of Management community, but also a motivation to continue improving.
We will keep working with determination to strengthen our impact, fully aware that this is an ongoing journey — one shaped by daily choices, innovation and shared responsibility.
Because now more than ever, educating innovators means helping to shape a better future for all.
