Brightstar and POLIMI Graduate School of Management join forces to support young talent through AI Marketing Lab

An initiative designed to help 80 young people enter the job market through training, a bootcamp, and paid internships

Milan, 27 October 2026 – In Italy, 13.3% of young people aged between 15 and 29 are neither in education, employment nor training (Eurostat, 2025). This figure highlights the challenges of helping younger generations transition into the workforce and the need to create concrete opportunities to strengthen their motivation, skills and career prospects.

This is precisely the need addressed by AI Marketing Lab, a project created and promoted by Brightstar in collaboration with POLIMI Graduate School of Management, Nextwork360 and Digital360 Group. The initiative aims to transform young people’s potential into job-ready skills, using artificial intelligence as a tool for learning, inclusion and access to new professional opportunities.

The project will initially involve 80 young people aged 18 to 30 who are not in employment or education, through a free online course structured into nine modules focused on applying AI tools to communication and digital marketing. Participants will develop skills in content creation, social media and digital campaign management, customer relationship management, CRM, and marketing automation.

The programme’s free-of-charge format helps make training accessible, while collaboration with qualified partners provides participants with both academic and professional expertise, bringing them closer to the evolving needs of businesses.

From training to workplace experience

The programme also includes additional opportunities to reward commitment and achievement. The most outstanding participants will be invited to attend an intensive in-person bootcamp in Milan, and ten of them will have the opportunity to undertake a three-month paid corporate internship, complemented by a career coaching programme.

The goal is to create a tangible link between education and employment, enabling selected participants to apply the skills they have acquired in a professional setting while giving companies access to talent equipped to use AI in communication and digital marketing activities.

"With AI Marketing Lab, we are investing in the talent of younger generations, creating a concrete bridge between education, innovation and career opportunities," says Enrica Ronchini, Head of External Relations and Communications at Brightstar.

"Many young people risk being excluded from the future before they even have the chance to live it. Yet today the future of work has a name: artificial intelligence. This represents a paradigm shift that young people are particularly well positioned to embrace, thanks to their fresh perspective, innate digital mindset and adaptability. It is from this paradox that AI Marketing Lab was born," says Andrea Rangone, Professor at Politecnico di Milano and Co-founder of Digital360 Group and Nextwork360.

AI Marketing Lab represents a successful example of collaboration between business and academia, contributing to the development of the skills required to navigate digital transformation.
