It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Alessandro Brun, a great loss not only for POLIMI GSoM but also for the entire international scientific community and the world of university and post-university education.
His genius, his enthusiasm, his passion for the world of education in over 20 years of activity at POLIMI GSoM led him to design and direct important programmes for our school, including the Global Executive Master of Luxury Management, the Master in Global Luxury Goods and Services Management, the Master in Luxury Management and Customer Experience - The Italian Excellence and the Global Master for Luxury Business Professionals.
Over the course of his career he left a fundamental and indelible mark on his colleagues, on the staff, on his beloved students and on the many companies at which he contributed with ad-hoc training programmes. In recent days we have had the opportunity to witness many demonstrations of closeness and affection towards him, a sign of what he represented for us and for our whole community.
We will miss him enormously.
