FT Executive Education Ranking 2022: POLIMI Graduate School of Management is in the top 10 of european technical business schools

The British newspaper’s ranking confirms the excellence of the training courses dedicated to top managers
The Financial Times has honoured POLIMI Graduate School of Management by placing it among the top seventy business schools in the world based on the quality of its Masters and Executive programmes dedicated to top managers and businesspeople. According to the Executive Education Ranking 2022, the position of the Business School of Politecnico di Milano has improved, reaching 56th place for Custom courses (tailor-made in partnership with companies and supplied to executives, managers, and high-potential employees), and 62nd position for the range of training relating to Open programmes (dedicated to professionals who choose their own educational courses). If only schools linked to a “technical” university are considered, POLIMI Graduate School of Management is ranked 9th in Europe for both programmes.
Regarding the Executive Custom courses, the Business School of Politecnico di Milano went from 81st to 56thplace, climbing twenty-five positions with respect to its last appearance in the ranking. Among the parameters taken into account, POLIMI Graduate School of Management stands out in the assessments relating to the level of partnerships with other business schools and the internationality of its students.
Also in the Executive Open courses , POLIMI Graduate School of Management has improved on all parameters, moving from 74th to 62nd position. In particular, the business school is distinguished by the number of women attending, the level of partnerships with other business schools and its international location.
After entering the Financial Times Executive Education Ranking for the first time in 2011, the Business School of Politecnico di Milano has improved its position over the years, gaining loyalty above all in its Custom paths, which are designed to meet business needs and developed specifically for individual companies. Several companies of extremely varying sizes have chosen POLIMI Graduate School of Management to create and provide tailored training courses for their leaders on the most strategic issues to emerge in a competitive and evolving market: Big Data, Digital Transformation, Diversity & Inclusion, Energy Management, Finance, Marketing, and Personal & Soft Skills, to name but a few.
“Our Executive courses are designed for highly qualified managers who, in a competitive environment such as ours, need continuous and targeted training”, said Federico Frattini and Vittorio Chiesa, Dean and President of POLIMI Graduate School of Management, respectively. “More and more companies have come to believe in the importance of lifelong learning, turning to institutions, like ours, which strongly believe that higher-education pathways should not be limited to individual or sporadic initiatives. Rather, it is essential to invest in continuous modules that are programmed over the medium and long term, in order to guarantee continuity of updating and, at the same time, an accommodation with work needs. The confirmation of our presence in this prestigious ranking tells us that our courses are appreciated and that they are responding to the real needs of the market”.
