EcoVadis Rating: Silver medal confirmed for POLIMI Graduate School of Management, with a score on the rise

POLIMI Graduate School of Management has achieved a new EcoVadis scorecard for 2025, confirming its silver medal and further improving its score: 72/100, up from the 2024 result of 68/100.
This progress testifies to the School’s ongoing commitment to developing increasingly responsible and sustainable practices.

An improvement that confirms a solid path

The new score represents a significant advance and, once again, ranks POLIMI GSoM among the most principled institutions evaluated by the EcoVadis platform, one of the most internationally recognised for measuring corporate sustainability.
The 4-point gain in one year reflects the School’s continuous evolution in key areas such as environmental protection, working conditions, ethics, and supply chain management.

A sustainable strategy built over time

The results achieved are the fruit of a structured process:

  • the first Sustainability Plan was introduced 2022;
  • in 2023, the School became a Benefit Corporation;
  • in 2025, POLIMI GSoM received the Sustainability Report Award for its Impact Report, promoted by Corriere della Sera, in collaboration with Next Nuova Economia per Tutti. In the same year, the Impact Committee was established, an advisory body to guide and strengthen the School’s sustainability and social responsibility strategy;
  • In addition, a number of initiatives have been launched over the years to reduce environmental impact, strengthen collaboration with the third sector and systematically integrate sustainability issues into educational programmes.

Some of the most important initiatives in recent years include:

  • the expansion of collaborations with non-profit organisations and the development of projects dedicated to inclusion and social impact, such as Leave Your Mark, which has involved over 40 non-profit organisations since 2022;
  • the tracking of educational content in the School’s programmes which is linked to the  2030 Agenda SDGs;
  • a commitment to the calculation, limitation and offsetting of our carbon footprint, through projects such as “Conscious Training”, which focuses on the environmental impact  of POLIMI GSoM’s training courses for companies, and support for the Envira Amazzonia project through our partner, Green Future Project.

These actions embody the Purpose that guides our School – We nurture innovators to shape a better future for all – and demonstrate our desire to generate a positive and lasting impact on society.

A forward-looking achievement

The confirmation of the EcoVadis Silver Medal and the improved score are a further incentive to continue with determination on the path towards an increasingly sustainable, responsible and impact-conscious school model.
This recognition strengthens POLIMI GSoM’s position as a benchmark in future-oriented management training and the creation of shared value.
