QS Executive MBA Rankings 2022: Executive Master in Business Administration at POLIMI Graduate School of Management among the world’s best

Politecnico di Milano’s Business School is 29th in Europe and 74th globally says Quacquarelli Symonds
POLIMI Graduate School of Management joins the best in the world again this year. QS Executive MBA Rankings 2022, published today by global higher education consultants Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), lists the business school belonging to the Milan-based university in 29th place out of 68 in Europe (up from 31st in 2021 out of 60 schools). The QS Rankings are among the most respected worldwide and certify the highest standards in training and education.
Globally, POLIMI Graduate School of Management is placed 74th for the quality of its Executive MBA out of 220 business schools in the classification. In 2021, Politecnico di Milano’s Business School came 73rd, but the pool was smaller and this year there are 18 more schools. In light of this, the results confirm the excellence of POLIMI Graduate School of Management on the international stage in delivering masters and executive education programmes, continuing the trend of the past years.
POLIMI Graduate School of Management excels above all in Employer Reputation and Thought Leadership, with its 53rd and 74th place respectively at global level. In Europe, the school is listed 21st and 32nd. These two categories weigh heavily on the final scoring because they refer to distinctive traits that are so important to students and managers across the world. Employer Reputation is the quality of the programme as rated by tens of thousands of employers in companies across the globe. Thought Leadership, which includes “Academic Reputation” and “Research Impact”, rates the reputation of the faculty, according to the national and international academic world (measured through a survey).
The Graduate School of Management at Politecnico di Milano has also improved in the two scores measuring post graduation career outcomes. Promotions (percentage of cases where people are promoted after completing a master) and Salary Increase (average increase in salary within 12 months from completing the programme) are also up from last year, confirming that continuous learning is a strategic key for professional success.
“Today, the importance of continuous learning is staring us in the face more than ever before”, said Vittorio Chiesa and Federico Frattini, President and Dean of POLIMI Graduate School of Management. They continued: “We never get to a point in our lives where we can say that we are truly ready for the professional work expected of us, and so put our professional development and learning behind us. QS’s certification for our EMBA tells us that we are going in the right direction by innovating our programmes continuously. This ongoing innovation means that we can introduce ourselves to the business community as the perfect mooring place for people eyeing the chance to take on the challenges of change with success”.
POLIMI Graduate School of Business has been listed in the QS Rankings every year since first entering in 2017.
