Quacquarelli Symonds: Polimi Graduate School of Management’s Master in Digital Supply Chain Management is 7th in the world, thanks to its excellent level of Employability - POLIMI GSoM

QS has also recognised the excellence of the Specialising Masters and the MBA: if the rankings are limited to business schools linked to a technical university, POLIMI GSoM’s Master in Business Administration is second in Europe

Milan, 25 September 2024 – POLIMI Graduate School of Management’s Master in Digital Supply Chain Management has been placed 7th worldwide in the QS Global MBA, MBA by Specialisation & Business Masters 2025 Rankings, gaining two positions compared to last year. The Employability criterion, which has the greatest weight on the entire ranking, has helped to consolidate the position among the best in the world of the business school curriculum of the Politecnico: relative to this indicator – the degree of employability of post-graduation students – POLIMI Graduate School of Management is 5th globally. The Master in Digital Supply Chain Management also stands out because of its excellent price-quality ratio (Value for Money), ranking in 11th place worldwide for this parameter.

The rankings were published today by global higher education consultancy Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), which examined around 1,000 masters worldwide.

The QS rankings also assessed the quality and international reputation of the MBAs. POLIMI Graduate School of Management is confirmed in the world top 100, thanks to the excellence of its Full-Time MBA, positioned by QS in 26th place in Europe and 72nd in the world. This is an even more important result given that more business schools were evaluated this year than last year (+24). Also for the MBA, QS recognised the value of Employability (71st out of 340 schools) and Academic Reputation (73/340). If the ranking is limited to business schools linked to a technical university, POLIMI GSoM is ranked 2nd in Europe, immediately after Imperial College Business School, for this increasingly strategic training path.

Returning to the performance of the Specialising Masters, the Milanese business school is confirmed as one of the most competitive and internationally accredited institutions, according to the QS rankings. The Master in Marketing, Management, Omnichannel and Consumer Analytics ranks 32nd out of 140 schools, gaining four positions on 2023, when 131 schools were classified. The Master in Project Management occupies the 37th place out of 206, remaining stable in comparison with the previous year, when 201 schools were ranked. The Master in Business Analytics and Data Science moves up the table to 46th place out of 164, with an improvement of two positions compared to 2023 despite the current ranking including 15 more courses. Finally, the Master in Fintech, Finance and Digital Innovation confirms its 69th place out of 222, stable when compared with 2023 (when it came 70th out of 204 schools). POLIMI Graduate School of Management has maintained high quality standards even in the face of an increase in schools evaluated by QS this year.

"This achievement confirms our School’s commitment to preparing professionals ready to excel in international contexts", said Vittorio Chiesa and Federico Frattini, respectively President and Dean of POLIMI Graduate School of Management. “We are particularly proud of these results, especially with regard to the Employability indicator, which has a significant impact on the final positioning and – no less importantly – among the criteria that motivate students to choose us. The fact that the Specialising Masters and the MBA, our flagship programme, facilitate careers repays us for the commitment of our professors and the efforts that the School makes every day to train a generation of managers who are both mindful and guided by a higher purpose.”
