How did you benefit from a specialising master after the completion of your university studies?
After completing my Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Management, the specialising master played a crucial role in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. It allowed me to refine both my technical and practical skills, thanks to the strong combination of academic rigor and real-world experience brought by the faculty, many of whom were also experienced managers.
This made the master a fundamental step in transitioning from a purely academic mindset to a more concrete and execution-oriented approach. Additionally, I had the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with professors such as Professor Frattini and Professor Bellazzecca, with whom I still stay in touch. These connections have been extremely valuable, both from a professional and a personal growth perspective.
How did the master help you acquire tools that enabled you to apply the concepts of innovation, sustainability and entrepreneurship in your daily work challenges?
The master provided me with a practical toolkit that I actively use in my daily work. Through both coursework and external exposure, I developed a structured approach to innovation, sustainability, and entrepreneurship. For this reason, I started before to work in a position of innovation analyst in teh innovation hub of Cariplo Factory, and then to build my startup with some colleagues.
In particular, I benefited from being part of communities such as the Entrepreneurship Club, which allowed me to interact with managers and professionals who regularly share tools and best practices. These experiences helped me understand how to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and leverage digitalization to scale impact.
Moreover, the focus on sustainability, also reinforced through my relationship with Professor Bellazzecca, has been highly aligned with the mission and vision of the startup I co-founded, enabling me to apply these principles in a concrete and consistent way.
