How did the master help you acquire tools that enabled you to face the everyday challenges in your organisation/industry?
The Master has helped me a lot, not only through the academic content, but especially through the exposure it gave me to different speakers, cultures, and mindsets. That experience expanded my awareness and allowed me to look at my organisation and industry from a broader perspective. It helped me better identify the gaps, the areas that need development, and where I can focus my efforts to build improvements from the bottom up.
It also reshaped the way I approach challenges. The mindset I developed at Politecnico, combined with the credibility and trust that came from being part of this network and engaging with its partners, gave me both the confidence and the support to start working in a more structured, ambitious, and impactful way.
How has the specialising master helped you cultivate your capital of human connections with professionals and companies?
I honestly believe this was one of the strongest points of the Master. More than anything, it gave me access to an exceptional network of professionals and organisations that I would not normally have been able to connect with so closely.
I am currently finalising my thesis with the guidance of four highly respected speakers from top European football organisations, which says a lot about the level of exposure and support Politecnico gives its students.
One real example of this impact is that, through the connections built during the Master, I managed to help create a partnership between CONI and Wadi Degla Clubs in Egypt, allowing Italian female national squash players to spend a three-month training period in Egypt.
For me, this is one of the biggest values of the experience: not only the connections themselves, but the fact that they can turn into real collaborations. And I truly believe there is still much more to come through Politecnico’s network.
