Alumni Summer Gala 2024

On Wednesday, 19th June, get ready to immerse yourself in an enchanting evening at the Museo Nazionale Scienza e Tecnologia Leonardo Da Vinci in Milan, starting from 6:45 PM (CEST).

6.45 PM | Accreditation  
 
7.15 PM | Opening remarks 

As the curtains are drawn back and the stage is set, you will be warmly welcomed by Federico Frattini, Dean of POLIMI GSoM, and Vittorio Chiesa, President of POLIMI GSoM. This will be followed by an insightful speech from Professor Enrico Zio, Delegate for alumni at Politecnico di Milano, setting the tone for the evening. Additionally, Professor 
 
7.35 PM | Keynote speakers 

Following the initial remarks, Fabio Sdogati, professor of International Economics, will provide a broad perspective on the current global economic landscape. 
Subsequently, Roberto Mordacci, Pro-Rector for Humanities and Social Sciences and Director of the Philosophy & Business Unit at Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele, and A. Reza Arabnia, Cavaliere del Lavoro and Chairman of Gruppo Gecofin, will deliver thought-provoking keynote speeches on the intrinsic significance of labour. These discussions will be facilitated and moderated by Eleonora Chioda, a renowned author and journalist from La Repubblica, ensuring a stimulating and engaging dialogue. 
 
8.05 PM | Alumni awards 

As the event progresses, we will reach a pivotal moment: the presentation of the alumni awards. 
Join us in celebrating the achievements of our distinguished alumni with three different accolades: 

• Innovation Alumni Award
• Entrepreneurship Alumni Award
• Sustainability & Impact Alumni Award

8.30 PM | Networking dinner with live music 

The evening will then crescendo into a networking dinner, accompanied by live music. This will be an opportunity for you to engage with fellow alumni and our distinguished guests, rekindling old friendships and forging new connections. Enjoy the unique atmosphere where history meets innovation in the heart of Milan, making for an unforgettable evening.
