Italian Language Courses

While you’re here why not take on an extra challenge?

The Politecnico MOOCs Portal offers an Italian language and culture course at a beginner level, which is perfect to get a taste of the language.

The two modules are:

You can get access to the course with your Politecnico credentials, or you can also make a new profile. Just click on the links for Part 1 and 2 to get the full details. The course has videos, grammar, exercises, a forum and much more. To give you an estimate of the time commitment, you would need to spend about 8 to 10 hours studying per week, for a total of 8 to 10 weeks.

If that course isn’t exactly what you’re looking for, the Comune di Milano has a portal called Milano Italiano Stranieri, where you can find lots of different Italian lessons in the metropolitan area. You can choose from private schools, NGOs and municipality classes. While it’s still useful for browsing options, this portal will soon go offline, and will be replaced with the new Portal at WeMi Comune Milano, which is already active and ready for use.
