Launch of the Master in AI & Entrepreneurship: POLIMI Graduate School of Management and Albert School Join Forces for the Next Generation of European Innovators

In a global landscape where innovation is dominated by the United States and China, Europe must strengthen its competitiveness. POLIMI Graduate School of Management, and Albert School, the first European Business & Data School, announce the launch of the Master in AI & Entrepreneurship.
This program is designed for ambitious students with a strong technical background and a deep desire to turn their ideas into successful entrepreneurial ventures. It is a unique opportunity for those who want to build and scale new tech enterprises in the AI space, contributing to strengthening Europe's national and transnational capabilities in this critical area.
POLIMI GSoM offers cutting-edge education and experiential learning capabilities, while Albert School provides an international network and its expertise in education that combines business with data. Together, these institutions will provide students with the resources and knowledge necessary to master the AI competences and be ready to launch successful and innovative ventures.
The curriculum is structured to offer a balance between theory and practice, with a joint curriculum developed by Albert School and POLIMI GSoM. Students will delve into technical subjects such as advanced machine learning, LLMs, and multimodal systems, combining them with essential entrepreneurial knowledge such as fundraising, launching and scaling a company, sales strategies, economic principles, and much more. This integrated approach ensures that students acquire both advanced technical skills and essential entrepreneurial abilities, preparing them to become leaders in the field of AI.
In addition to classroom learning, students will have numerous practical learning opportunities. The program begins with a 10-week internship at an AI startup or within a multinational company developing a new AI product. In the third semester, students will be coached to develop their own AI startup projects, collaborating closely with corporate partners across various industries to create cutting-edge AI applications that have the potential to become successful ventures. Among the partners, the program can count on the support of Mistral AI, the European Leader in AI innovation, which will be providing free credits for the students to develop their AI solutions. The students will then return to class while continuing to work on their ventures, culminating in an investor day at the end of the program. This event will involve leading European VC investors, business angels, and major multinational companies who will examine and judge the projects. The objective is for students to finish the program with a viable project launched and to secure the funds needed to make it grow. Floriano Bollettini, Director of Albert School in Italy, comments: "We believe in Europe’s entrepreneurial talent and refuse to accept the innovation gap with the United States and China. With this Master program, our goal is to turn technical profiles into key players in the next generation of cutting-edge AI solutions."
"In a time of rapid transformation driven by artificial intelligence, POLIMI Graduate School of Management aims to foster the growth of leaders capable of leveraging innovation to build a better future. The new Master in Artificial Intelligence and Entrepreneurship, developed in collaboration with Albert School, combines theory and practice to address today’s challenges and anticipate those of tomorrow, with the goal of generating a positive impact on society through the responsible use of AI" says Federico Frattini, Dean of POLIMI Graduate School of Management.
Mistral AI, a European leader in AI innovation, provides significant added value to the program. In addition to offering free credits for AI application development, Mistral AI brings to the table its advanced expertise in the field of artificial intelligence, supporting students in creating an innovation ecosystem. This contribution allows students to experiment and innovate without financial obstacles and to benefit from technical and strategic support to launch new AI champions.
