The new POLIMI Graduate School of Management campus opens in Rome, in collaboration with ELIS

A new space to promote education, innovation and social impact in the heart of the capital.

Milan, 11 November 2025 – POLIMI Graduate School of Management expands its presence in Italy with the opening of its new campus in Rome, located at Villa Fassini, thanks to the collaboration with ELIS, a non-profit organisation that has been promoting innovation and educational projects. This initiative marks an important step in the extraordinary growth of the School, which in 2025 registered over 1,150 Master students, 2,500 managers and entrepreneurs participating in management training programmes, 3,000 Public Administration employees and more than 18,500 client company employees. With this decision, the School consolidates its leadership in Italy and strengthens its regional network to be ever closer to students, managers, professionals and entrepreneurs in Central and Southern Italy.

The inauguration of the new Rome campus highlights POLIMI Graduate School of Management’s commitment to promoting an innovative and inclusive training model that combines academic excellence, connections with the business world and social impact.

Villa Fassini is one of the educational centres of the ELIS educational system. The structure is surrounded by a large park in the Casal Bruciato district, where training activities, business projects, social innovation initiatives and community inclusion programmes coexist. In this context, POLIMI Graduate School of Management’s new site serves as an open space for collaboration between academia, business, and the local community.

The collaboration with ELIS – a non-profit organisation that has been promoting educational and professional training courses in collaboration with companies, schools and local communities for 60 years – is a key element of the project. ELIS works to guide young people into the world of work, supporting skills development and facilitating the matching of supply and demand through educational programmes, orientation initiatives, professional and managerial development programmes based on experiential learning.

“With the opening of the new campus in Rome, we are strengthening our presence in Italy and making our educational offer, which has always focused on innovation for sustainability and impact, even more accessible,” stated Federico Frattini, Dean of POLIMI Graduate School of Management. “The collaboration with ELIS allows us to combine academic excellence and social responsibility, creating a place where education, business and community meet to generate a positive impact on society.”

For POLIMI Graduate School of Management, this opening represents a further step towards building a widespread and interconnected community. Through the new Rome seat, the School aims to develop learning paths that foster personal and professional growth, enhancing the dialogue between universities, companies and the local community.
