POLIMI Graduate School of Management and Amici di Emmaus: solidarity fashion for a more inclusive future

We are excited to present a new solidarity merchandising line, the result of the collaboration between POLIMI Graduate School of Management and the Amici di Emmaus association. This initiative combines fashion, sustainability and solidarity, supporting valuable social projects and promoting a concrete impact on the most vulnerable communities.

Ethical and sustainable fashion to make a difference

The collection includes cases, computer cases and other accessories with a modern design, handmade in the artisan workshop – based at our School – using eco-sustainable materials and in compliance with ethical standards. Each purchase is not only a sign of belonging to the POLIMI GSoM community, but also a direct contribution to Amici di Emmaus projects. The proceeds will be used to finance activities and initiatives that promote social inclusion and ethical work.

Amici di Emmaus

Founded in Italy on 4 October 2022, the Amici di Emmaus association supports the NGO Emmaus, active in Ukraine since 2011. Their mission is to accompany young people with disabilities or a difficult past towards a better future. After the Russian invasion, some activities were transferred to Italy, while others continue in Ukraine.

To date, Amici di Emmaus has supported 150 refugees, started a craft workshop for people with disabilities, created a community residence for 20 people and arranged flats for refugees.

The Bottega di Emmaus: creativity that inspires

Established in Kharkiv during the lockdown, the Bottega di Emmaus is now active in Italy, where seven young Ukrainian women, coordinated by art teachers, make high-quality handicrafts with felt from local suppliers in Ukraine. Each computer case, pencil case or document holder tells a story of strength and determination, enhancing personal talents and supporting solidarity.
