Welcome aboard for your new journey — and welcome to our school!

Here they come — with their desire to take action, to get involved and to create valuable connections. Here they are looking for a place where they can ignite the spark of change: we are talking about the over 300 new students we have just welcomed into our school.

Coming from almost 60 different countries, they will be the young protagonists of the new editions of the Specialising Masters (BABD, IMIE, IMCyM, IMDT, IM4, MEM, MGLuxM, iMSCPM, Sustainability, FT MBA, IMESM, iMSOI4.0, IMMCM, Fintech, iMIFRIM, and iMPM) and today, they have demonstrated that they are the spark from which a better future can be born!

For the first time, at the historic Bovisa Campus, we have organised an inaugural event dedicated to all the new classes, to give our students an even warmer welcome, to enable them to get together — while being on different courses — and to create new relationships, right from the start.

The day was introduced with speeches by the school’s Dean, Federico Frattini, and the Associate Dean for Open Programs, Antonella Moretto, who explained: “We decided to create this shared kick-off session because we believe in the importance of relationships and connections. #connect, to use a term dear to us, is an essential part of the purpose that drives our school. Above all, though, we wanted students to get involved right away and to have the opportunity to be inspired by our guests and partners too!”.

For the first time, at the historic Bovisa Campus, we have organised an inaugural event dedicated to all the new classes, to give our students an even warmer welcome, to enable them to get together — while being on different courses — and to create new relationships, right from the start.

Next came Mattia Salvi, the Co-Founder & CEO of Aryel, a company that helps businesses and creative agencies launch augmented reality marketing campaigns. He recounted his success story, which is a source of great inspiration for our young talents.

The students were then divided into 14 teams and engaged in a series of activities and games that allowed them to get to know POLIMI GSoM in depth, including the various teams of school staff who will accompany them during their studies. The school teams, each at their own stand, introduced themselves to the students and involved them in several challenges.

After the various networking activities and after tackling the many challenges presented by the teams, the students gathered to vote on the best photo of the day, declaring the winner of the photo contest the team of students composed of Bouhdi Lamya (iMSCPM), Cazzola Guglielmo (BABD), Mohandas Kavya (iMPM), Fasolato Giorgia (IM4), Freire Joana (Sustainability Management), Gonella Valeria (iMPM), Gonzalez Maria Andrea (Sustainability Management), Hawkins Stephanie (IM4), Ippolitoni Francesco (IMDT), Panameno Patricia (iMSOI4.0), Pandolfi Riccardo (BABD), Pasche Catalina (IM4), Ramachandran Kevin (IMDT), Saluja Meenal (FT MBA), Servalli Andrea (FT MBA) and Vagrotelli Eleonora Eva (IM4).

Welcome to our community and all the very best for this amazing experience!
