From MIP to POLIMI GSoM

Founded over 40 years ago as MIP Politecnico di Milano, today our school is a beacon in the landscape of management training, both in Italy and abroad, with a portfolio of over 40 Masters, including seven different MBA and Executive MBA formats, a catalogue of over 300 programmes for managers, executives, entrepreneurs and professionals , and customised training courses for companies.

The name POLIMI Graduate School of Management, which we adopted following a rebranding in 2022, underlines our strong links with the ecosystem of Politecnico di Milano which, alongside a board of prestigious companies, sits among the School’s members.
Founded in 1863, Politecnico di Milano is not only the largest school of Architecture, Design and Engineering in Italy, with two campuses in Milan and five in Northern Italy, but also one of the most important in global terms: it is number one in Italy and among the leading schools in Europe and the rest of the world. This renown is rooted in the quality and innovation of the teaching and research, which are not only deeply interconnected but also strongly linked to the world of work, thanks to a vast and well-established network of relationships.

Why POLIMI Graduate School of Management is the top Italian Business School

It is a status that we, as the Business School of Politecnico di Milano, have amplified, always distinguishing ourselves through the quality and excellence of our programmes, which are placed among the best by the most important international rankings — those of the Financial Times, Bloomberg, the Economist, and QS.
In fact, our MBA and our online MBA ensure that POLIMI GSoM features in the rankings of top European business schools and among the best worldwide.

Still, this prestige goes beyond rankings. Today, we are actually one of the very few schools in the world (less than 1%) to have been awarded “Triple Crown” status, that is, accredited by AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS, the three most important international accreditation bodies.

What also sets us apart is our strong connection with companies. At our business school, you will have plenty of opportunities — in many different forums — to meet and exchange views with the business world: from testimonials in the classroom to in-company projects, from recruiting activities to interaction with colleagues, who are often professionals themselves. When you study with us, you have over 10,000 opportunities a year to make connections, and every day we work on creating more.

Driven by our purpose, we believe that education is crucial in preparing tomorrow’s business leaders for the toughest challenges facing our society, so we aim to be an agent of change and to be recognised worldwide as the most innovative business school and the one most committed to creating a responsible society. We were actually the first European Business School to receive B Corp certification.

Where are we

Finally, our Business School is located in Milan, one of the most important economic centres in Europe and a landmark in the world of fashion and design.
Our two campuses give a 360-degree experience of the city. The Bovisa Campus, which has been our home since 2009, is the nerve centre of the school and symbolises our strong connection to Politecnico di Milano University.
The new Navigli Campus offers our students — especially those who have come from abroad — the opportunity to live a different experience of Milan. The Ripa di Porta Ticinese area is pervaded by a unique atmosphere, a fusion of the spirit of ancient Milan with a vibrant culture.
Starting from Milan, we have also created some local hubs which allow our students to enjoy more of our country thanks to partnerships with John Cabot University in Rome and La Salle International Campus in Treviso.
