Global Master In Performing Arts Management

Overview
Do you want to pursue a career in performing arts management? This programme is designed for you.
The Global Master in Performing Arts Management is a 20-month, full-time programme organised by Accademia Teatro alla Scala in partnership with POLIMI Graduate School of Management and in collaboration with the Piccolo Teatro di Milano – Teatro d'Europa. It promotes stage arts as a fundamental social, political and economic asset, and is built on the conviction that live performance preserves and passes on our collective cultural heritage to future generations.
The programme trains professionals to operate across the sector's multiple areas of activity – from superintendence and artistic direction to production, fundraising, communication and marketing – with a focus on Europe, North America and emerging markets. The teaching methodology is grounded in learning by doing, combining theoretical and practical work in a real professional environment.
The curriculum combines intensive classroom study with a 3-to-6-month internship at prestigious venues such as the Teatro alla Scala and international field projects in Berlin (Germany), New York (USA) and Delft (Netherlands), developed in collaboration with leading European and American universities.
