Overview

Are you a young graduate who wants to think and act like an entrepreneur? Do you want to become an innovative leader? If so, this is the perfect programme for you.

The rise of new technologies and the broadening of global markets are creating continuous opportunities for new business development and are challenging established market positions. This is the perfect time to take a step with us, into the future.

At POLIMI GSoM, our faculty is made up of professors specialised in innovation and digital technologies and for years we have been working  alongside innovative companies, startups and business incubators.

Together with them we have developed our International Master in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, which is a programme of absolute international excellence, designed to train you to excel in business analysis and enabling you to acquire excellent digital skills and an entrepreneurial mindset.

With this Master you also have the chance of getting an MSc in Entrepreneurship from WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management, if you decide to attend an extra year at WHU.

If you are interested in WHU’s MSc degree, you have two options:

  • You can choose and decide to attend the entire programme, making the decision before the beginning of your Master. This means you would do the first year at POLIMI GSoM and the 2nd year at WHU, and you would sign a Training Student Contract with each institution before the start of the programme. This contract includes the full programme details, and you will have the right to cancel it up to one month before the start of your second year.
  • On the other hand, you could enrol first in our POLIMI GSoM master programme and then, by February in your first year, you can decide to do your second year at WHU. In this case you will need to sign the second Training Student Contract that specifically focuses on the second year of the master programme.

Our world is going through unprecedented change, and we need a new generation of innovators to pave the way for the future. This programme gives you a highly specialised qualification and at the end you’ll get a Specialising Master Degree from Politecnico di Milano.

Our International Master in Innovation and Entrepreneurship is a 12-month programme offered by POLIMI GSoM.

We give you the necessary skills for a managerial career in the entrepreneurial world, including leadership and decision-making, market development, sustainable and cost-effective management of innovation – not to mention the fact that we actively stimulate your personal development. We include plenty of practical activities to keep you interested and actively learning, including lessons, international lectures, company presentations, workshops on soft skills, project work in collaboration with companies, company visits, and alumni talks.

To participate fully in classes and company visits, your presence on campus is highly recommended, especially from January 2023 onwards; in cases of visa delays, travel barriers or other specific issues, it would be possible to continue attending classes online.
