Do you want to pursue or boost your career in sport management? Discover our Master in Sport Design and Management, created by us at the Politecnico di Milano in collaboration with the main Italian sports institutions: CONI, FIGC, Istituto per il Credito Sportivo and Lega Serie A.

Our Programme is made for young graduates that want to start their career in the world of sport management, or professionals who want to develop further with specialised skills in the design and management of sport infrastructure.

 QUALIFICATION

At the end of your Master, when you complete all the scheduled activities, you’ll get a 1st or 2nd level University Master Degree issued by the Politecnico di Milano. This will be a I level degree, if you have a 3-year Bachelor degree (Laurea Triennale), or a II level degree if you have a Master degree (Laurea Magistrale).

Our Master goes for 12 months and is given both in Italian and in English.

You’ll have monthly classes here at POLIMI GSoM or online (once a month on Thursday-Saturday) and every Monday online (7.00-9.00pm CET). Our Master also includes outdoor activities, and at the end of the programme you’ll also discuss your Project Work.

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES

Put theory into practice with these engaging outdoor activities. We’ve added these on top of our more traditional classes, giving you a chance to put what you have learned into practice together with key insights from sport management professionals.
You’ll have 2 intensive 4-day workshops:
One is at the Centro Tecnico Federale FIGC “Luigi Ridolfi” in Coverciano, the Italian National Football Team’s primary training ground, as well as at
“Giulio Onesti” Olympic Preparation Center in Rome.
One Site Visit and Match Day: including meetings with sport management professionals
Workshops on specific projects
Seminars at the headquarters of companies and public institutions

PROJECT WORK
Wrap up your programme with a practical approach, by completing this concrete project which you will do with the support of an academic tutor. You’ll then present your final paper in front of an academic committee at the end of your Master.

We’ve made this Programme for both graduates and professionals with a Bachelor or Master Degree in any discipline.

ADMISSIONS PROCEDURE

Selections for the 2023 intake are now open!
Just fill out the online form on Apply GSoM and attach these documents:

  • Your CV
  • A degree certificate or self-certification
  • Transcript of records
  • Motivational letter
  • Copy of your passport
  • Copy of proof of payment of the €100 application fee. You can pay this online using the online application form, Flywire* or by bank transfer. The application fee is non-refundable.

*You can easily pay your tuition and fees online via Flywire, our preferred payment partner. Flywire is a secure international payment service that simplifies payments from your home country or other countries around the world. Payment options include bank transfers, credit cards, e-wallets and more, typically in the local currency.

You can apply, take part in the selections, and enroll in the 2023 edition of this Master starting in November, even if you haven’t yet got your degree. What is important is that you have passed all your scheduled exams by the start of the Master.

Once you’ve submitted your application, our Recruitment Staff will contact you to complete the first selection phase, which includes a video interview.

The tuition fee amounts to €12,500.

EARLY BIRD

Applicants who submit their application by 31st May 2023 will be awarded a 10% Early Bird Contribution in case they pass the selection process and are admitted to the program.

POLIMI ALUMNI

If you graduated at Politecnico di Milano you can apply for a contribution of up to 40% of the tuition fee.

WOMEN4MANAGEMENT

At POLIMI GSoM we actively promote gender equality, which is why we made this contribution to allow women greater accessibility to the programme, and in doing so to increase class diversity.

If you have shown outstanding merit and achievement in an academic or professional sense, you might be eligible for this financial aid of up to 30%.
